Anneline Kistoor
I am currently the Librarian in Vermaaklikheid and have held this position since 2009. I have a Diploma in Information Sciences.
In 2015 I was awarded a Ministerial Award and shared it on stage with various South African famous actresses such as Sandra Prinsloo. What an honor it was .
I'm also Active in various organizations that want to make changes in peoples lives especially for our younger generation.
My Favorite food islamb and potato salad. My Favorite drink - I don't have anything specific as long as it's tasteful I will enjoy it! I definitely start my mornings with a cup of coffee in bed.
I will also assist wherever and whenever needed; no matter how big or small the challenges are.

By the end of my fifteen year modelling career overseas I moved back to South Africa!
Besides raising three children, self publishing a photographic book, I have been involved in numerous NGO’s and community based uplifting programs. I now find myself in Vermaaklikheid a small village outside of Cape Town and have opened up a little coffee shops called Josie’s General Store.
I enjoy working with people and being part of my community. Unfortunatley small towns are forgotten by our goverment and the only way to make a change here is to do it yourself, so Hilary and I started Vermaakverbeter two years ago, along with Amelia and Anneline as we had identified a need.

I am currently a student at Klein Karoo Bronne Sentrum in my final diploma year in ECD.
When I have completed my studies, I would like to become more involved at our preschool in Vermaaklikheid, Tiny Treasures, hopefully a permanent position.
I love helping others and I love working with children.
I want to be involved in improving Vermaaklikheid because I want to be part of the progress and improvement of our children's lives. Working with children, big or small, helps me to sometimes forget about my own adult problems.

Although living primarily in Cape Town, Vermaaklikheid has become my second home.
Having recently retired from a career in IT, I have enjoyed becoming more involved with the local children of Vermaaklikheid. I have a teaching qualification, enjoy working with children, and see the benefit in them being computer literate. With this in mind, Josie and I started the Vermaakverbeter Afterschool program.
I have found this a challenging, yet extremely rewarding project. It certainly continues to be a privilege to be part of this happy, supportive and caring team.
In my spare time I love the outdoors - hiking, swimming and just being in nature.
